A Kind of Magic
August 22nd, 2014What a glorious scene at the Greenwood Medical Centre today. The display of Prunus campanulata enthralls passers-by, staff, and locals, year after year. I’ve found the blossom particularly beautiful this year, and with a week of fine weather coming up it can only get better. Tuis swoop from tree to tree, daffodils and polyanthus flower their heads off underneath, and a stunning Magnolia blooms in unison, further highlighting the pink profusion. This little haven opposite One Tree Hill playground is a welcome respite from the almost unending stream of cars, buses, and trucks that pass by, and certainly a salve to the soul of those who are visiting the centre.
