On our garden maintenance round through the Eastern Bays today, many subtropical plants were still performing as if at their mid-summer peak.  Scented gardenia and frangipani, vireya rhododendrons in autumnal hues, blush pink brugmansia, and an outstanding – and uncommon – euphorbia were highlights.
